On April 30, 2024, Tesla shocked the entire EV industry by announcing the layoff of the entire global Supercharging team. As members of that group, we knew this decision would leave a significant gap in Canada’s charging deployment. We knew there was still plenty of work to be done on the way to electrifying the nation and making EV charging accessible for all. We knew exactly what we needed to do: Charge On.
